Show plot summary (may contain spoilers)

One should always practice caution when walking on thin ice, especially when that frozen but brittle transparent substance almost covers the entire globe. Once more, the indefatigable sabre-toothed squirrel, Scrat, is in search for the perfect stash of winter provisions, unbeknownst to him, however, that his reckless hunt for nuts and that faint hairline crack on the ground may be the means for the creation of something utterly magnificent.
