Grave Encounters

Grave Encounters is designed to elicit intense Fear and Anxiety as the ghost-hunting crew becomes trapped and terrorized within the 'alive' psychiatric hospital. The film's found-footage style and the characters' descent into madness contribute heavily to a pervasive Disturbing atmosphere. Surprise comes from jump scares and unexpected supernatural events, while Anticipation and Curiosity are driven by the mystery of the hospital's dark past and what horrors will be revealed next. Confusion arises from the labyrinthine nature of the building and the characters' deteriorating sanity, leading to Empathy for their hopeless situation.
