Funan

The film "Funan" is a poignant and harrowing depiction of the Cambodian genocide. As such, Sadness, Empathy, and Disturbing are the most prominent emotions, reflecting the profound suffering and the brutal realities faced by the characters. Anxiety and Fear are also very high, stemming from the constant threat and violence of the Khmer Rouge regime. Melancholy captures the overall somber and reflective tone, while Anger is directed at the injustice and cruelty. Despite the overwhelming despair, Love for family provides a crucial driving force for survival, and Hope flickers as characters cling to the possibility of a better future.
