Show plot summary (may contain spoilers)
In the dead of night, a helpless female student is stabbed to death outside her apartment building in the port city of Le Havre. However, as the police begin a thorough investigation, the poor woman's neighbours and the silent complex's thirty-eight tenants claim to have seen--and above all, heard--nothing. Under those suffocating circumstances, the devastated maritime pilot and ideal suspect, Pierre, summons up the courage to break the silence, as his wife, Louise, and the determined journalist, Sylvie, stand powerless before the thick mystery and the burden of choice. Now, a gruesome murder, one common secret, and a pressing "why" demand an answer, as 38 witnesses chose to hush up. What will it take to unearth the truth?
