Ana Paula's dream is to have the perfect wedding and the perfect life with the perfect man. But her fiancé is not so perfect; he cheated on her with her cousin. Meanwhile, carefree Daniela has been in love with her best friend since childhood but never had to courage to tell him. Ana Paula gets drunk and is accidentally driven out of the city and into the jungle, where she finds Erik, a simple man who travels the native colonies as a doctor. He'll show her that life doesn't need to be perfect all the time and teach her to appreciate the simple things--and challenge her convictions about her upcoming marriage. In the meantime, Daniela is staying at her best friend's house to celebrate his father's birthday; when his family teases him about never having had a real girlfriend, Daniela pretends to be his girlfriend in front of them, but they both soon realize that their feelings for each other are real.
